Novartis Consumer Health
Challenge
With the struggles of the economy, Novartis Consumer Health need to obtain a more cost-effective, sustainable and entertaining means of training employees and new hires. It is difficult and costly to transport employees across the nation to conduct training seminars. It is also time consuming for employees to train new hires, resulting in ineffective introductions to the company. Another common challenge they were faced with was change management. It is sometimes very difficult to implement change in a non-threatening, fun and effective way.
How we helped
In cooperation with Novartis Consumer Health IT, software developers and business team, we developed a learning curriculum, in hopes of enhancing the learning experience through content organization. CLI developed a presentation which included voice over, green screen video and animated content, giving step-by-step instructions to the user.
From there, CLI moderated a series of Webinars, in which we received virtual standing ovations and A++ reviews. A supplemental self-learning piece was created to allow employees to refer back to and cross reference when needed and also for new hires to learn the software. This piece included chapter navigation and a navigable PDF was included to allow users to print all or parts of the user guide. We also included a reference guide book for quick pulls of information.
Comments
Novartis Consumer Health saved on travel costs for their staff while delivering effective learning materials. Team members were able to easily access the self-learning piece for reference and new hires were trained in the same manner as current employees creating a cohesive and professional experience.
CLI has excelled in meeting the challenge and has developed many training pieces for Novartis Consumer Health: webinars, self-learning, reference guides, interactive user manuals and training guides.
